Get Drunk! (취하라) / Charles Baudelaire (샤를 보들레르)

 
One should always be drunk
That's all that matters; that's our one imperative need
So as not to feel time's horrible burden one which breaks your shoulders
And bows you down, you must get drunk without cease
 
항상 취하라
무엇보다 중요한 것은 그것이다
그렇게 하는 것만이 그대의 어깨를 짓누르고 그대의 허리를 휘게 하는
무서운 시간의 重壓을 느끼지 않을 수 있는
유일한 길이니 끊임없이 취하라

But with what?
With wine,
Poetry,
Or virtue as you choose.
But get drunk!

그러나 무엇에?
술이든,
詩든,
禪이든 그대가 좋아하는 것에
다만 취하라

And if, at some time, on steps of a palace, in the green grass of a ditch,
In the bleak solitude of your room, you are waking
And the drunkenness has already abated, ask

그러다 때로 궁전의 계단이나 개울가 푸른 잔디 위에서
또는 삭막하고 孤獨한 그대의 방에서 깨어나
문득 취기가 어느 사이 사라졌음을 발견하게 되면 물으라

The wind,
The wave,
The stars,
The birds,
The clock

All that which flees,
All that which groans,
All that which rolls,
All that which sings,
All that which speaks,
Ask them, what time it is;

바람에게,
파도에게,
별에게,
새에게,
時計에게

달아나는 모든 것,
신음하는 모든 것,
구르는 모든 것,
노래하는 모든 것,
말하는 모든 것에 물으라
지금 몇 시냐고

And the wind,
The wave,
The stars,
The birds,
And the clock,they will all reply:

그러면 바람은,

時計는 대답하리라

"It is time to get drunk!
So that you may not be the martyred slaves
