According to the Ministry of Employment and Labor, LG Display was found to have regularly violated the extended work limit by entering employees to work within the legal overtime work limit and granting substitute leave (compensation leave) through a separate system for additional working hours.
In this way, the Ministry of Employment and Labor explains that it has violated the overtime limit on a total of 251 times (a total of 7,120 hours) for 130 people. It has been revealed that the company has been managing overtime work on a monthly basis while operating a one-month selective working hour system.
